der kranke bote + volxbibel AT

*freu* heute hab ich ned einmal, sondern gleich zweimal post bekommen! neulich hat ne gewisse juppi mich ueberredet einen story in der kranke bote veroefentlichen zu lassen. dies fiel mir irgendwie schwer, da ich schon angst habe, dass mein schreib kunst ned wuerdig ist von die juppis da draussen gelesen zu werden. (vor allem die, die so begabt sind wie sie, aber ned so nett..) naja.. letztendlich (mit einige korrekturen) worde es auch bedrueckt.. und die schickten mir, lieb wie sie sind, einen exemplar, damit ich beweis hab. wer die story liesst und kommentare dazu hat, kann sie hier abgeben.

dazu eine grosse ueberraschung und segen.. ich hab naehmlich die verlosung bei der kranke bote gewonnen um einen volxbibel altes testament zu bekommen! dass freut mich, da ich selten was gewinne umsomehr aber weil ich den altes testament besonders lieb habe (was jeder bezeugen kann der hier mitliesst oder mich mal predigen gehoert hat). gespannt oeffnete ichs.. "saul hatte dabei zugesehen, wie david goliat plattgemacht hatte." yo, herrlich! nur eins fehlt: WO SIND DIE KLEINPROPHETEN?! nagut.. es fehlte schon noch ne bissl mehr, aber sie mag ich besonders. und den psalmen, so wie martin und team sie umdichten sind auch cool.. bin gespannt aufs ganze AT.

tea time

samstag abend war ich zum ersten mal bei einen steiger tee party dabei. es war recht cool.. den innerhof haben sie verwandelt in einer orientalischer tee zelt- stoff hing von die decke und waende, teppiche waren ausgelegt, niedrige tische und kissen zum drauf sitzen. zeitweise spielten ein paar leute live musik im hintergrund. michael stand draussen und lud menschen ein mit riesigen seifen-blasen. dass ganze ging in die nacht hinein..bis etwa 3. es gab mindestens 7 tee sorten zum probieren, alles umsonst. (yogi war aber das beste) kerzen und fakeln gaben es einen romantischen atmosphaere. ich war froh doch gekommen zu sein, trotz schmerzender fuss und kopfweh. vor allem, als ein paar leute mit dem ich beim letzten euro-cafe evangelisation gesprochen hatte ankamen. wieder gab es nette gespraeche. einen echt schoenen und gelungener abend!

lang lebe die koenigen

aparently pirate kidnappings are only a week long.. at least this one was. my pirate returned me to the karlsruhe shores safe and unharmed (naja..ausser mein fuss der richtig derb weh tut und geschwollen ist). this was definatly the BEST birthday present i have ever had.. or heard of anyone else having.
the first two and a half days were spent in oxford, where we saw a lot of sights and then biked over to the josh ritter concert (this was the real reason for the whole trip). the concert was amazing.. he played well over two hours. i had a seat on a sofa for part and then sitting on a little table for the rest. andreas was bored. he claims to like metal.
the rest of the week was spent in london.. where we came no where near to seeing everything. but we did go to the glorious undead church to meet up with some friends of mine.. kameal and his wife (and surprisingly tina, who i didn't realize lives there). the GU is similar to the jesus freaks, and i knew some of them from freakstocks past. we of course followed church with a visit to brick lane for indian food.
we were also able to attend st paul's cathedral for evensong. but the real highlight in london (for me) was that we were able to (after standing in a line for over an hour) get tickets (for the very best seats in the house) for "as you like it" (the one with my favorite monolgue) at shakespeare's GLOBE!!! (ok, the 1997 rebuild of it)
and.. as if this wsn't enough.. we saw 2 space invaders and 1 banksy!! thats it really for street art.. but we went to a few museums, since they are all free! we saw the tate modern and the national gallery.

von ein pirat entfuehrt

der grosser, dunkler und hubscher pirat hebt mich wieder in sein (luft-)schiff auf und segelt mit mir nach england..
also falls ihr mich dort ned trifft, hoert ihr erstmal ne woche nichts!

auf was neues (testament)

tcha.. nun sind neun monate vergangen seit einige von uns mit den jahresbibel angefangen haben. seit ihr noch dabei? heute faengt naehmlich das neue testament schon an! daher eine einladung fuer alle die einsteigen wollen.. wir lesen nach dem link (klick auf post titel) oben.. mehr oder weniger chronologisch. wenn ihr mitliesst, schreib mal ne kommentar.. es ist ja cool, wenn man weisst wer sonst noch dabei ist, damit wir uns gegenseitig ermutigen koennen und vielleicht ab und an mal ein bissl drueber austauschen koennen.

auch mal was neues was wgs angeht.. diese woche ziehe ich innerhalb karlsruhe um.. wer hier ist und gern schleppen mag kann sich gern melden! ansonsten kommt demnaechst ne email mit meine neue adresse.

so... ich worde abgesagt.
die vermieter riefen heut an waehrend ich bei steiger war. ich kann nichts tun, sie wollen mich ned.
trotzdem muss ich aus meine jetzige wg raus.. zum 1.9

wohnungs update (gebets anliegen)

so.. i just got back from an exhausting excursion. i went to meet my new landlords at 6pm.. i thought we would be making the rental contract (as did my new flat mate).... but instead, they gave me a form to fill out "selbstauskuenft" (personal information) with things like where i work and how much i make... and they asked a lot of questions. they seemed quite nice, but were worried as to the nature of the steiger verein. then they informed us that there are other interested parties for the apartment, not just me. oops. friends of friends or something. i am REALLY worried. i already told my flatmates here in chaosland that i am moving out (and have been getting the fallout) several weeks ago, and we found my replacement several days ago. soooo... if for some reason i cannot more into this new place, i still have to move out of my current one.. oops.

so i rode from that interview back up to steiger, and asked michael (the boss man) to take time away from his young sick son to write me a reference.. got a good one.. then grabbed some info letters and brochures about steiger, ate their leftovers, and rode all the way back to the new apartment to give them to the landlord.. and then came here. by the way, this is a record ot day in karlsruhe and i rode my bike for about two hours back and forth and back again.. so i am dead tired. but hey..good workout.

so.. please, pray that they decide i am a decent person and a qualified renter and let me move in next weekend!! otherwise i'll be looking for a comfy bridge to put my red sofa under.

ich worde samstag alt.

30 um genau zu sein.

den geburtstagswochenende (kennt ihr dass ned in dland? den woche vor und nach einen geb muessen uch gefeiert werden..) fing mit essen beim kroater mit mein liebster an. danach traffen wir etwa 20 steiger leute in eine kneipe. die schenkten uns um mitternacht sogar ne flasche sekt! cool. und die liebe gaeste haben geschenke mitgebracht..was ich ned erwartet habe, da es so spontan war und alle muessten selber getraenke bezahlen. ich weiss gar ned was mir am besten gefiel.. alles war gut! als wir rein muessten, sind wir ums eck zur anja...nachfeiern!

samstag war ich irgendwie fertig..keine ahnung wieso.. also haben wir unsere plaene einen kajak fahrt oder ausflug nach strassbourg oder so zu machen gecancellt. statt dessen hing ich mit mein liebster im garten rum und ging eis essen. abends gabs dann buffet bei mein lieblingsinder. (wer in der naehe wohnt oder vorbei faehrt sollte mich danach fragen und hingehen! ist echt guuuut). ich hab an dem ein abend mehr gegessen als im jahr zuvor..

und wollt ihr wissen was das highlight war? mein LIEBSTER und ich fliegen zum konzert von josh ritter (wer ihm ned kennt sollte mal reinhoeren) nach ENGLAND im sep!!!! oh yeah! zwei tage in oxford (konzi) dann vier tage in London. ich bin uebergluecklich! mein maker ist sooo toll.
